Statesman Cap10K
APPAREL DESIGN

The Statesman Capitol 10,000 (Cap10K) is an annual 6.2-mile race in downtown Austin, Texas. Established in 1978, it is the largest 10K in Texas and ranks among the top 10 in the U.S., drawing approximately 20,000 runners and over 25,000 spectators.

Cap10K came to us in 2019 needing a fresh take on their iconic "dillo" for the preceding year's race. We delivered a design focused on the concept of "a race with soul (sole)", with proceeds benefiting HAAM.

The following year, a shirt was designed for the first-ever Cap10K Virtual Race, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The shirt featured illustrated dillos and a clever play on words.
